Women, do you love to sing? Join the Star City Sounds Chorus and learn the art of singing four part harmony. The Star City Sounds Chorus members come from all walks of life. Some read music, many do not. Their common bond is their love of singing. Whether you sing a high range or a low range Star City Sounds may be just the right place for your singing hobby.
Star City Sounds organized in September 2006. We are an all female ensemble who sing four part harmony, a capella style.
Chorus members attend weekly rehearsals, perform locally in the community, and share the special bonds of friendship that singing four part harmony creates.
We rehearse on Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 9:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 2015 Grandin Road, Roanoke, Virginia. Guests are always welcome, Please contact us to let us know you will be visiting so that we can watch for you and/or make you aware of any change in our rehearsal schedule.

Some of the Star City Sounds singers sang holiday carols at the
O. Winston Link Museum in Roanoke, Virginia, as children awaited the arrival of Santa on the train.
