Step One: Visit a Rehearsal
Are you wondering what to expect at a weekly rehearsal?
On your first visit the director or a member of her musical staff will listen to your voice in private. This will help both of you identify the part which best suits your vocal range at this time.
Depending on the evening's rehearsal agenda the director may invite you to sing along with the chorus or to be an observer.
Step Two: Learning Music and Notes
Sheet music and learning tapes/CD's are usually available for learning songs.
During the week you'll memorize notes and words at home. Once you have attended three rehearsals you'll have the opportunity to do a practice audition.
Don't worry, we'll help you along the way to prepare for the friendly private audition.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 6:30pm at the Universalist Unitarian Church, Brandon Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia
